THE JOB:
As one of the Education Specialist for Urban Decay cosmetics, I have one overarching job...to educate clients and distributers alike on the benefits of using Urban Decay cosmetics.  As a previous employee of this company, moving up the ladder seemed a natural choice and the educator position has truly put my sociological knowledge to the test!  In this position I oversee the education of Ulta & Sephora store employees as well as spend time in-store educating guests on makeup tips/trends and filling their baskets with Urban Decay!  Presently, I oversee the Austin/Round Rock/Georgetown territory but come graduation in May, I will take over Texas as a perminant, full-time Education Specialist!


THE PROJECT:
My special project this semester has been two-fold.  First, I am working in cooperation Ulta Gateway Market and Sunset Valley Homestead, to put on the "Urban Rockstar" makeup event on March 20th & 21st.  National artists will be in store on both days doing makep, giving tips and giving away tons of free makeup!  Secondly, and in conjunction with SXSW, I am working with the Austin Film Society and the SXSW Music Festival during their award shows, on March 17th & 18th, touching up guest's makeup as well as putting the Urban Decay name on everyone's lips...literally!
