Spring 2008 Internship
Events Coordinator
I am a intern at the Austin Sport
and Social Club. It is the biggest sports and social club in
Austin and has nine different sports to offer. Some of the duties
that i do include refereeing the co-ed games such as volleyball and
soccer. I also manage softball and wiffleball and I am
getting ready to start the flag football and kickball season the first
week of April. I also post rosters for the teams and create
schedules for the games and post scores. I've been doing research
on events that the Austin Sports and Social Club want to start doing in
the future such as races and different types of tournaments and also
talking to businesses looking for sponsorships. The league is
twenty one and up and is a place to go out and play sports and meet

As for my education I currently a senior and I attend Texas State University. I am
expecting to graduate in the spring of 2008 with a bachelors degree in Sociology and a minor in
