My name is Adam Salinas a senior at Texas State University. I'm currently interning as a production assitant for Uptown Studios at Time Warner in Austin, TX. We shoot spots (commercials) for local businesses.  My job is to assit the producer on shoots and post editng for paying clients. The equipment we use is very expensive and I'm held responsible if anything breaks. Equipment we use include: Sony HD Cams, Sony Beta Cams, studio cams, teleprompters, Macintosh computers, monitors, dynamic mics, condenser mics, boom mics, lavaliere mics, high wattage lights, rechargeable batteries, dollies and the "Jib." I even handle a little office work like updating the database and alphabetizing the master libriary, also in order by date. I even do minor errands for my manager J. "Budro" Partida when needed. So far I have enjoyed interning at Time Warner and I hope to become a full-time employee after graduation!
