This is our newly designed recreational area complete with fire pit, authentic Lakota Tipi, and amphitheatre type seating.

Our Shannon Cabin and the mountain across the street from our facilities.
Just
outside the Lincoln National Forest nearby Ruidoso, New Mexico, the
Bottlehouse Cabins provides the most unique cabin experience in the
area. Our cabins are spread up the side of a mountain that extends two
miles into the sky with views of the natural world unlike anything in
town. As an intern, I am thrilled to have found a location that I am
able to take advantage of my inclination towards the environment and
natural world.
Working at the Bottlehouse has put me in a position
to really be among that which I love about life. It is a small, family
run business and largely off the radar as it is most definitely off the
beaten path. I am able to interact with people from all over and
encouraged to explore my surrounding environment in the name of guest
relations. Thusfar, I have assited in getting together many procedures
that will hopefully assist in our dreams of growth and expansion. I
have also helped in creating a very special event from the ground up
that will be used as a template to community-wide events provided by
the Bottlehouse on a regular basis.
I have also recently developed a
survey to distribute to our guests in order to both find ways to
improve our level of service provided as well as collect quantitative
data with respect to the discipline of Environmental Sociology.
Thusfar,
I have fit right in and impressed with my work-ethic, willingness to be
involved in all parts of operations, and overall enthusiastic attitude
that is rooted in that fact that I am in this unique and beautiful
place, plain and simple.
