Hi! My name is Lynsey Wall. I did my internship at Any Baby Can in New Braunfels.  Any Baby Can is a non-profit organization that assists families with a child between the ages of 0-12 and has either a chronic illness or developmental delay. It is a great agency because the staff is truly there to help better families’ lives. I consider myself very lucky because I could not have asked for a better internship and supervisor. I have learned a lot about myself as well as within the field of Social Work. I have worked alongside a LBSW Case Manager throughout my time at Any Bay Can. She has taught me what all Social Work entails. I loved every minute that I spent at my internship. Some of my duties included: answering phones, preparing files, completing client intakes, doing a client's needs assessment, going on home visits, purchasing prescriptions and much more. I have learned the importance of outreach as well as how to utilize community resources. Social Work is an amazing field and allows you the opportunity to touch lives.
