My name is Philip Muzzy and for my internship I decided to work with XI Media Productions in San Marcos, Texas.Over the years my Military and Business experience has become extensive, so in choosing the area of video technology, I have delved into an area that is outside of my comfort zone. My philosophy has always been to experience new things and not live a sheltered life.This new skill has definitely made me a more well rounded person. Understanding Audio, Video and various computer equipment is a marketable skill and can be applied in the work force as well as at home. After 300 hours with the company, it has come to my attention that most Clients that use Production Company's often do not understand the time,resources and effort that it takes to make a high quality project. Video tape a High School football game in the rain and you will understand exactly what I am talking about! The class that best prepared my for this internship is the Qualitative Research Methods class. Content Analysis is a skill that has always helped me and my employers over the years. The internship has been rewarding and I look forward to using the information learned in the classroom as a Secondary School Teacher.
