Fallon Nino's Web page
Hello everyone and
Welcome! My name is Fallon Nino and I am currently a senior at
Texas State University. This fall, 2007, I will graduate with a
Bachelor of Science in Applied Sociology, with a minor in Mass
Communication. As part of my degree program I was required to
participate in an internship program that has allowed me grow as an
individual giving me the skills and knowledge needed to head out into
the real world.
My Internship at the Texas Trial Lawyers Association
The Texas Trial
Lawyers Association was founded in 1949. Their goals
include the continuation to "fight to protect the civil justice system,
and to protect the rights of Texas families. TTLA works hard to
provide its members with tools, resources, products and services that
add value to its membership. They are dedicated to fighting for
the legal rights of every Texan." In working to achieve
these goals, the Texas Trial Lawyers Association provides there members
with important legal news and information, articles on changes in laws,
legal trends, and other issues facing the lawyers and clients.
For more information about TTLA visit www.ttla.com
At the moment I am
currently interning at the Texas Trial Lawyers Association as an
assistant to the Director of Meetings and Seminars. I am
responsible for helping assist my supervisor in organizing educational
seminars and special events for the members of TTLA. My duties
include researching destinations for future seminars, assisting in
making travel reservations and accommodations, assisting in organizing
menus for future seminars, and assisting in motoring expenses for
future events. So far my experience at the Texas Trial Lawyers
Association has been great. I am so thankful that the associates
at TTLA have taken the time to mold me into the person I strive to be.
