My name is Anthony Gibson and I'm a senior at Texas State University.  For my applied sociology internship I am a manager at the Wave nightclub in Austin, Texas.  My job consists of weekly staff scheduling, event planning, revenue outputs, and inventory breakdown.  The Wave opened in October of 2006.  It is a two level nightclub with an open patio on the second floor.  This club is both clean and beautiful with nothing but growing to do.  One goal of my internship is to breakdown the demographics of the population and see how we as a venue can cater to a more diverse crowd.
