Dallas / Fort Worth Wedding Consultants
My name is Jinna Danser. I am
a Senior at Texas State University
pursuing a degree in Applied Sociology and
Business Administration. Part of receiving an Applied Sociology
degree is completing an Internship in order to gain "real world"
experience and to grow as a professional. The opportunities that
are given as an intern are ones that make the transition from college
student to professional smoother and more effective.
I am currently interning with a Wedding Consulting Firm in the Dallas/ Fort Worth area. I have been given many responsibilities while interning that have allowed me the chance to show my professional skills and work ethic. On a daily basis, I contact vendors, send out e-mails, compile lead lists, attend vendor meetings, attend initial and final consultations, and help prepare for upcoming weddings and events.
This industry is a very competitive and professional area to go in to. Without this experience as an intern, there would be nothing to separate me from any other individual wanting to pursue a career in the Event Consulting industry. Also, through this experience, I have been given the chance to go on a become a Senior Consultant with Bride Associates after completing my internship.
Bride Associates has been in business for almost four years and has earned the reputation as a highly respected and sought after Event Consulting Firm in the DFW Metroplex. The owner started the business to try and change the image most people have of wedding consultants. One thing that sets Bride Associates and its consultants apart from others in the area, is the fact that at any given event, there is a team of at least two and most of the time three, consultants who attend. This in itself is a huge difference between Bride Associates and other event consulting firms.
