Hello my
name is Jasmine Pena. I am currently interning at Eden Home, Inc.
in New Braunfels, Texas.
Eden Home is a nursing home that provides rehabilitation as
well as assisted living, and long term care for
senior citizens. While at my internship I have been
able to work one on one with the residents. I have also
participated in care planning and discharge planning for the
residents. Social service assessments
are another one of the many tasks that I have performed while
at my site.
I really
enjoy working with the residents especially those who are there for
rehabilitation.
Because I want to pursue a career in Long-Term Care I feel
that this internship has been valuable to me and my future. I
will take what I have learned during this internship and cherish every
moment that I have been given. Working at Eden Home, Inc. I have
learned life and career skills that will stay with me forever.
