      About Me...      me at work

Hi! My name is Jessica Wilbanks and I am a senior at Texas State University-San Marcos. In
August of 2007, I will
              graduate with a
Bachelor of Science in Applied Sociology, and a minor in Psychology. My 300 hour internship took
place at the Texas ENLACE Office, on the campus
of Texas State University.

      My Experience...

My duties as an intern include gathering data on the results and outcomes of Project LA COSTA, an integrated, NSF
funded educational program . I am studying and collecting data on planning an implementation issues, achivement of
IT-related objectives, and the impact on participants. I was also able to demonstrate descriptive and process measures
in formulating the program evaluation. Throughout this internship experience, I have gained the knowledge and practive in
application of descrptive statistics and research methods and design. I have enhanced and sharpened my critical thinking
and application skills of theories and concepts previously learned, in order to think and communicate more logically. I believe
that this internship has more efficiently prepared me for graduate school and allowed me to explore possible career options
               involving research and program evaluations.
