This summer I had the great opportunity to work for the FossilOutlet store in Round Rock, TX.  My internship was to assume the everyday duties of Assistant Manager.  Duties included:  actively recruiting team members; hiring, firing, and performing corrective actions; training and building a solid team; and typical retail functions (opening and closing, sales, etc.).  Along with the normal duties of the store, I also had the opportunity to work alongside with my Store Manager reopening one of Fossil's outlets in San Marcos.  This gave me the opportunity to shine in the presence of my District and Regional Managers.  Since then, there has been much talk of moving me to Dallas to work for the Allen outlet store for a few more months before transferring me into corporate!

    I have decided to stick with Fossil after my internship and stay on as their full time Assistant Manager.  I am taking as many opportunities to prove myself as possible, to make my transition into the corporate level as quickly as possible. I couldn't have asked for a a better internship.  Fossil provided me with great opportunities, a good solid PAID internship, and wonderful/energetic people to work with.  I am thankful for the experience and excited to see where this leads me in my future endeavors!
