SHOWS
WORKED ON:
![]() When assisting the Peter Gabriel shows, I was responsible for the volunteers' productivity. The duties included ticket sales, merchandise, and the will call window. At these tribute shows Will Taylor and Strings Attached as well as guests like David Rice performed Peter Gabriel's legendary songs including "Red Rain." ![]() The Sgt. Peppers tribute show took place at the Nutty Brown Cafe, the Uptown Marble Theater, and Antone's. The musical rearrangements intrigued the audience. Will and his band were able to rearrange and add various and exciting elements to the album while still keeping the structural integrity that Beatles fans love worldwide. Other Austin musicians like Papa Mali, Sarah Sharp, and Jason Mckenzie were a large part of the show. This truly shows the mission of Will Taylor and Strings Attached. They are interested in sharing the music of legendary artists with the central Texas community as well as promote local talent. MY
SPECIAL PROJECT:
![]() As
my special project, I am organizing an American Roots Tour of Austin
schools. This show is put on by Will Taylor and Strings Attached, and
it is meant to introduce children to the unique sounds, songs, and
instuments of American culture. To start off this project, I created a
powerpoint presentation detailing the American Roots Shows from
previous years. I sent this powerpoint presentation in email
attachments to local principals and music teachers. So far, I have had
many responses.
