My name is Daniel Caraway and I
have been doing my internship at Lanai Rooftop Lounge.While completing
my internship, I have been involved in practically every aspect of the
service industry imaginable; conflict resolution, scheduling, event
coordination, etc., etc. The most valuable tool I have gained
from the internship thus far is my newfound ability to efficiently
organize my mind and produce quality results. I have been able to
unobtrusively observe and report aspects of business which I have never
paid attention to before. One special project I was able to get
involved with was planning and advertising for the bar's One Year
Anniversary Party. This allowed me to expand my network as well as
utilize my creativity while helping the bar at the same time. Overall,
this internship has been a very valuable learning opportunity and I
have zero regrets for going the extra mile in order to obtain an
Applied Sociology Degree.
